A FEMALE emu is continuing to pine for her feathered partner after thieves broke into a field and stole the 5ft bird.
Rod the emu was stolen from Lord's House Farm, in Wilpshire Road, Rishton, overnight on December 27.
His partner Penny was left behind.
A member of the farm staff said: "She seems pretty miserable. We are really hoping he is returned.."
