An inquest has been opened into the death of a man found hanging from a stairwell on New Year's Eve.
Brett Ivor Whittam was found at his home in Devonshire Street, Accrington.
Paramedics confirmed the 24-year-old team leader's death at 8.29pm.
A post mortem examination has been carried out.
The inquest was adjourned until March 21 for further tests.
