MUSIC fans from Bury who were sold fake tickets to see Beyonce in Manchester are being asked to contact the police.
Concert-goers were turned away from the Phones 4U Arena after more than 140 sets of bogus tickets were sold to them before the gigs last month.
Detective Constable Mike Dermody said: “Each transaction has taken place over the internet. I appeal to anyone who has been sold fake tickets but not yet spoken to police to come forward.”
Anyone with information can call Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 quoting BTP log NWA/B5 of 28/2/14.
