A WOMAN was rescued from an overturned car after a crash in Daubhill.

The accident, involving a Mini Cooper and Honda Civic, happened near Subway in Derby Street at about 8.10pm last night.

Firefighters helped free the woman from the overturned Honda, and she escaped without injury.

Police re-opened the road at about 9.20pm.

No-one was arrested.

when will Bolton council do something about the junction of derby street they have put new lights up but if your turning right into fletcher street u don't no when lights have changed it needs a filter on the lights to let cars turn safely its only a matter of time before there is a fatal accident at that junction

My daughter loves Subway but I think we'll have to use another one given the number of cars that overturn at that junction. I'd rather travel a bit further than risk her safety and will continue to do so until the authorities take action to stop these sort of life threatening accidents.
