A NEW group of animals are waiting patiently for their "forever homes" at the Bury and Oldham RSPCA centre.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal can contact the centre on 0161 624 4725; go to the centre in Rhodes Bank, Mumps, Oldham or visit rspca-buryoldham.org.uk.

The animals seeking a loving family to join permanently are:

—Milo is a six-year-old male Jack Russell and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross.

He is a playful cheeky chap who loves toys and whose favourite game is fetch. Milo already knows the sit and paw commands but is willing to learn new instructions for treats.

At the moment he is working on walking to heel and since being at the centre is already getting better manners. He picks things up quickly and would benefit from further training.

Milo’s ideal home would be one where he gets a lot of exercise as he is very energetic. He would prefer to be the only dog in the family and could be rehomed with children aged 10 and over.

—Demi is a quiet and shy female adult black cat who has been at the centre since October last year.

She enjoys being stroked and will come to you for attention but is becoming increasingly stressed in the cattery environment. Staff think once she is in a home without children or other cats and dogs she will come out of her shell and be a much happier cat.

—Latifah is an affectionate female three-year-old black and white cat who has also been awaiting her forever home since October.

She was nervous and shy when she was first brought to the centre but has now come out of her shell and is relaxed and happy.

She loves to play with a feather and chase toys and enjoys attention and cuddles. She doesn’t get on with other cats and would be happiest re-homed as an only cat. Due to being quite shy at first, a home with children aged 10 and over would be best.
