Blackburn woman taken to hospital after domestic assault

POLICE were called to an address in Blackburn on Monday night after reports of a brother and sister being involved in a domestic assault.
The sister was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital after the incident in Zion Road where she was allegedly attacked by her brother.
A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to an address in Zion Road, Blackburn, shortly after 3am on Monday night following reports of a domestic assault.
“A girl was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital and it appears that she was punched or kicked in the face.
“We have not yet located the brother.”
