CANCER charity Marie Curie has thanked staff and residents at the Clitheroe Care Home after organising a Daffodil Day.
The Eshton Terrace care home organised the day for Marie Curie Cancer Care and St David’s Day.
The 21 residents in the home each bought the Marie Curie daffodil pins and helped create a daffodil chain.
There was also a St David’s Day quiz and guess the weight of the cake.
Local community fundraiser Lucy Leeming said: “The Clitheore Care Home provided such a lovely afternoon for the residents.
“The daffodil chain was a great way for them to get involved and raise awareness about our campaign whilst also celebrating St David’s Day”
The Clitheroe Care Home have also thanked Sainsbury’s who donated the daffodils for the event.
