Hollinshead Street Scout Group, Chorley, is celebrating its 95th anniversary. The group, set up in 1919, has a thriving Beaver colony, Cub pack and a Scout troop.

Scout Leader George Platt has been with them for 60 years starting as a cub, aged eight.

To mark the event a stained glass panel has been fitted into one of the windows of the church. It will be dedicated on Sunday, March 9.
