A ‘NATURE in Art’ exhibition is set to be held at a Ribble Valley stately home from this weekend.

Browsholme Hall, near Clitheroe will put the art on show every day from Saturday until March 11.

An exclusive viewing night will be held on Saturday from 7pm before it opens to the general public the next day.

Some of the artists who have work on show include John Clarke, Sarah Cemmick, Rodger McPhail, Owen Williams and Alistair Makinson.

The exhibition will be open from 11am to 4pm from Sunday.

The hall’s owner Robert Parker said: “We are delighted to have been able to attract five artists from Lancashire and the north that are at the pinnacle of their ability and career.

“In the early 19th Century Browsholme built a gallery to exhibit works of the artists of the day and those included J W M Turner.

“Today, we continue that tradition with every expectation that these artists may gain a similar reputation.”
