A FORMER Lancashire Telegraph business of the year winner has unveiled its new multi-million pound client support centre.

MDA has launched the new site within the old Walkersteel building, on Walker Park, Blackburn, to house more than 100 employees.

The firm, which works with some of the world's biggest brands including Coca-Cola and Blackberry, has invested around £7million in the new base along with a 250,000 sq ft Fulfilment Centre, processing over half a million orders per year in support of major brands and organisations including Diageo, Mondelez, Pernod Ricard, ExxonMobil, Iceland and Moet Hennessy.

Managing director Dale Stokes said: "We’re so proud to make our brand new Client Support Centre available to team MDA and our fantastic client portfolio.

“Our acquisition by Bunzl plc last year has allowed us to accelerate our plans and open our new world class fulfilment and client support facilities, and is testament to the hard work of our fantastic team. We’re proud to be continuing our investment in the local area, and long will it continue.”

MDA designs and distributes marketing materials and point-of-sale items for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Coca-Cola Enterprises, AB InBev, Aviva, Bacardi, Ford, Red Bull and Coral Racing. Last year its turnover hit £33million and in 2012, it was named Lancashire Telegraph business of the year.
