TORY minister Oliver Letwin visited Darwen as he helps put together the party’s manifesto for the coming election.
Minister for Police, Mr Letwin accompanied town MP Jake Berry on a visit to metal fabrication firm WEC, in Junction Street.
They were joined by group director Wayne Wild to talk about business, investments and apprenticeships.
Mr Letwin has been tasked by the Prime Minister to develop new policy for the Conservative manifesto.
Mr Berry said: “I was pleased to welcome Oliver to Darwen.
“It is important the views of businesses here in the North West are listened to.”
