A 21-YEAR-old motorist who drove onto a Clitheroe petrol station at 6.30am was later found to be nearly three times the legal drink drive limit.
Blackburn magistrates heard a member of staff at the Primrose station alerted police after seeing William Parry staggering around the shop, colliding with displays. He then followed Parry to his car.
Parry, of Hawthorne Place, Clitheroe, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. He was ordered to do 100 hours unpaid work, pay £145 costs and banned from driving for 24 months.
