BLACKBURN wallpaper manufacturer Graham and Brown has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with the creators of Moshi Monsters to launch a new range of wallpaper.

Moshi Monsters is a free, online game where players adopt and nurture virtual pet monsters and complete puzzles, earn currency, shop and send messages to friends.

The site is one of the world’s fastest growing for children and has over 80 million registered users in 150 countries.

The Moshi Monsters franchise has expanded to include a TV programme, music, DS video games, books, a number-one selling magazine, trading cards and toy range.

Alongside the new wallpaper range is wall art, window stickers, wall stickers and interactive wall panel.

The new design will form part of its expanding kids décor range, that will be launched in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

The Blackburn–headquartered business, led by CEO Andrew Graham, said its partnership with Moshi Monsters highlighted its plans to further develop the children’s décor market in response to growing customer demand.

Mark Radford, design and marketing director of Graham and Brown, said: “Children’s décor is one of the fastest-growing areas of home decoration, as more parents encourage their children to embrace their creativity.

“This new collaboration with Moshi Monsters shows our commitment to developing on-trend products for our customers with some of the world’s most powerful brands. We’re confident this will be a huge success.”

Darran Garnham, chief business development officer at Mind Candy - the company behind Moshi Monsters, said: “Graham & Brown’s global footprint and expertise in kids décor makes them the ideal partner for Moshi Monsters. We can’t wait to see the new range hit the shelves. It gives our fans another way to bring the world of Moshi Monsters to life. ”
