TRAINS between Bolton and Blackburn are running again after signalling was restored near Bromley Cross this afternoon.
Normal working resumed at 12.50pm and the first service to run between Bolton and Blackburn was the 12.40pm train from Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria.
No passengers were stranded on trains because of the fault, but replacement bus services were used.
The 11.14am Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria service terminated at Blackburn because of the fault.
