A LARGE hole in the road in Whalley Range has been fixed after blighting residents’ lives for six weeks.

The hole, behind number 103 Whalley Range, close to Snow Street, was causing traffic problems for those living nearby.

Bastwell councillor Shaukat Hussain reported the problem to the council several weeks ago, and it was finally fixed on Monday morning.

Coun Hussain said: “Residents were miffed.

“It caused a lot of problems in the area for residents, most of those affected live on Snow Street.”
