They've done it! Atlantic Rowing Challenge team raising money for Bolton Lads Club cross the finish line

AN AWESOME foursome who have spent the last 59 days rowing across the Atlantic Ocean in a bid to raise £250,000 for Bolton Lads Club have crossed the finish line.

Mark Brocklehurst, aged 52, Matt Nuttall, aged 44, Nick Griffiths, aged 42, and Finn Christo, aged 32, set out for Antingua on December 4 and ended their dramatic 3,000-mile voyage at 8.45am today UK time.

They can be seen in the picture - beards and all - enjoying their first meal on dry land since before Christmas.

What a great achievement by these 4 ( BOLTON LANCASHIRE LADS) you have done you Town and your families very well we are all so proud of you and I to have been watching your progress and at times you have had some rough times and I to hope you all go and enjoy the very nice Fish and Chips that as been offered to you by that Fantastic man at Olympic Fish and Chips in the Centre of Bolton and I for one will go down to the Lads Club and give some money to them because of you 4 and once again well done
