Traffic diversions in place for resurfacing on Barbara Castle Way, Blackburn

WORK on resurfacing Barbara Castle Way, Blackburn, from Preston New Road to Montague Street will begin on Sunday, February 9. It is expected to take four weeks to complete and the full road will be closed on Sundays. During the maintenance work there will be a signed diversion route for traffic and access for residents and emergency service vehicles.
On Monday, February 10, Granville Road will also be resurfaced taking around three weeks to complete.
The works will be closed in sections from 9.30am to 3.30pm and a diversion route will be in place. The work is being carried out in a £10m scheme.
