Downpour causes difficult driving conditions in East Lancashire

DRIVERS were faced with difficult conditions today as heavy rain hit East Lancashire.

The downpour overnight meant motorists had to be careful with surface water, although no major incidents were reported.

The rain is set to continue in the early part of the week though, with rain forecast almost continually from Monday morning to the early hours of Wednesday morning across East Lancashire.

Agreed, alongside the fact the police think they have they own laws, a riot van travelling over 80mph on M65 this afternoon and stupid conditions and not on emergency.
