Accrington teenager set to be Lancashire’s ‘prom queen’

A SCHOOLGIRL is set to become Lancashire’s ‘prom queen’ after organising the county’s largest charity prom fair.
Accrington teenager Shelby Jones is the brains behind a Prom and Party Fair involving three fashion shows this weekend.
Over 40 high schools and 6th forms across Lancashire are expected to attend the event, which will raise money to support orphans in southern India.
It will display everything required for an unforgettable school prom night.
The Year 11 St Christopher’s High pupil got involved in helping the Shining Faces Orphanage and the Indian Christian Mission Centre Orphanage through her school.
The event is also being supported by St Christopher's charity committee, which is a team of dedicated fund raisers.
