A PIZZA-loving couple were given a unique wedding gift by Domino's - selfie portraits on pizzas.

Newlyweds Kieran and Natasha Morris, from Bury, were given the pizzas after the company commissioned celebrity portrait artist Nathan Wyburn to recreate a selfie taken by the couple and transform it into a pizza masterpiece.

The portraits were designed across two large 13-inch pizza bases, with the couple’s faces created entirely from pizza toppings, including tomato puree, ham and sweetcorn.

The portraits took almost three hours to create.

The couple tied the knot on Saturday at Samlesbury Hall in Preston, where the pizza-selfie was delivered to them at their reception from a nearby takeaway.

The couple first contacted Domino’s to share details of their upcoming wedding and to request a special pizza to surprise their guests because their friends and family love to joke about how much pizza they eat.

Groom Kieran Morris said: “The pizza-selfie portraits were like nothing we could have imagined – definitely our most unusual wedding present.

"We were completely overwhelmed to see our faces on the pizzas, and the guests absolutely loved it."

The happy couple, both born and bred in Bury, have been together for seven years.

Kieran is a support worker, and his wife, Natalie, is a student at Salford University.

The couple are soon to leave for their honeymoon, where they will be staying in a nature reserve near Reykjavik in Iceland.

Ahmed Faraz, the manager of the local Domino’s in Bamber Bridge, said: “It’s been really fun working behind the scenes to recreate pizza-selfies for such big fans and we wish them all the best for the future.”
