Talks on retail centre

REGENERATION bosses at Rossendale Council have said advanced talks are being held about the future of the empty New Hall Hey business park, in Rawtenstall. The retail centre has been empty since it was built in 2007. However, council chiefs said owners West Register and partners Barnfield Investment Properties Ltd are in discussions with companies interested in occupying the site. Coun Andy MacNae said: “The interest is good and at a very advanced stage.”
