A MAN had his wallet stolen as he took money out of a cashpoint.
The 25-year-old victim was in St James’ Street, Accrington, at around 6am yesterday when the attack happened.
Police said he was approached by three men who pushed him and took his wallet as well as £50 in cash and a bank card.
The men ran off and the victim chased after them, but was unable to catch them.
Det Sgt Adrian McHugh said: “I would appeal for anybody who witnessed the attack to come forward.”
The men were wearing dark clothing and were all in their late teens or early twenties.
