BOLTON Prince’s Trust Team members have bought tinned food, toiletries and warm clothing to donate to two homeless charities.

The eight unemployed 16 to 25-year-olds, pictured, have taken part in the Prince’s Trust Team programme at Bolton Fire Station.

They raised money by bag packing to complete community projects including renovating a community centre and taking a group of elderly people for a trip to the Salford Museum.

They decided to spend money left over to buy items to donate to St Luke’s Drop in Centre in Bolton and Life Share in Manchester.

The items they have donated will be used to provide hot meals, showering facilities and meals for homeless people and those on the poverty line who would otherwise go without.
