Coppull library to close for facility work

Coppull Library will close for a short period in the new year while essential building work is carried out.

The library, on Spendmore Lane, will close at lunchtime on Saturday, January 4 and reopen at 9.30am on Monday, January 13.

The work, costing around £18,000, will include the addition of a new toilet that is accessible to disabled people and also has baby-changing facilities.

All library members can use their cards at any library in Lancashire.

The nearest libraries to Coppull for people to use during the closure are Chorley Central Library, Union Street or Adlington, Railway Road.
