The scene at the crash
AN eight-year-old girl was taken to hospital after a crash between two cars on Boxing Day.
Police were called to Walkden Road in Worsley at about 1.45pm after an Alfa Romeo and a Vauxhall Astra were involved in a head-on crash.
The girl, who suffered a cut to her head, was taken to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for treatment.
Her injuries are not thought to be serious.
