NELSON-based business communications provider Daisy Group recently went back to school by participating in a job fair designed to help students get a foot on the career ladder.
As one of East Lancashire’s biggest employers, Daisy joined fellow representatives from Pendle Council, Protec, Asda and the Marsden Building Society at Pendle Central Academy in having a chat and sharing advice with Year 10 and 11 pupils.
Daisy CEO Matthew Riley said: “The whole idea of attending these kind of events is to make young and enthusiastic students aware of career opportunities within a fast-growing local business. I’m quite proud that we currently have nearly 900 people working at our headquarters in Nelson.
“I’ve resisted chances to re-locate in the past and I want to offer jobs to those closest to our base.”
