Clitheroe Market open extra hours for sales

CLITHEROE Market will be open for an extra day over Christmas.

The market will open on Saturday and Tuesday as well as an additional day on Monday.

The market will be closed on Thursday December, 26 and there will be no collectors markets on Friday or Friday, December 27.

Normal business at the market will resume from Saturday, December 28.

Clitheroe is famed for it’s market which it has hosted since the Norman Conquest in the 12th Century.

It now boasts more than 80 stalls selling everything from fruit and veg to electrical appliances.

What's the point of an extra market day if your traffic wardens are just going to target motorists? I won't be shopping in Clitheroe any more and I don't think I'm alone in that thought. Sorry, but Clitheroe is a lost cause.
