Four cars crash on M61
EMERGENCY services were called after four cars crashed on the M61 southbound between junctions four and five.
Nobody was trapped inside the vehicles, which were all on the hard shoulder as police and firefighters arrived.
The crash happened just after 8pm.
Earlier this evening, the Highways Agency was warning about flooding on the local motorway network.
