Chorley MP concern over sight loss

Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle met with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) at a parliamentary reception where it launched its new report which claims patients are losing their sight due to overstretched eye clinics.

Staff expressed serious doubts over the ability of clinics to meet demand.

Mr Hoyle said: “I will talk to my local hospital to raise our concerns and ensure they are aware of the capacity problems currently leading eye clinics to breaking point.”
