Older people took advantage of a chance to cycle on the National Velodrome track in Manchester.
Chorley Council’s Active Generation project teamed up with the National Cycling Centre to organise the trip which included a one hour track session with a qualified coach, plus a tour of the centre.
Fourteen people took part in the trip and also got the opportunity to have a one lap time trial and set a time on the track.
It is hoped more trips aimed at promoting cycling will be arranged in the coming year.
