A MAN accused of raping a woman in Bolton town centre has appeared at Bolton Crown Court.
Matthew Broughton, of Cow Lees, Westhoughton, is charged with rape after an alleged incident involving a 28-year-old woman in Princess Street, off Bradshawgate in the early hours of Friday, November 22.
He will appear at Bolton Crown Court on February 21 where he will enter a plea to the charge.
A trial date has been scheduled for May.
