CORONATION Street’s Dev Alahan took time out from running its famous corner shop to support a bumper charity fashion show event at the Last Drop Village in Bromley Cross.
Actor Jimmi Harkishin helped with an auction and won new fans when businesses based at the Bolton complex supported the event to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Sammy Kenny, pictured left, and her business partner, Lynette Tattersall-Booth, from the Last Drop boutique, with Jimmi Harkishin, organised the evening which also featured a variety of stalls. About £2,500 was raised and Susan Briggs, from the charity, said they were all “delighted” with its success.
