YOUNGSTERS at the Kearsley Moor St Stephen’s Church helped needy children across Bolton by collecting toys for the annual Caring Christmas campaign.

They collected a variety of items — such as toys, gifts and games — for the campaign, which has been jointly launched by The Bolton News and the Bolton Lions charity.

The collection was overseen by Bolton Lions toy collection co-ordinator John Crompton. The campaign has been running for 25 years.

Toys can be donated through any of the collecting Lions, or left at The Bolton News offices in The Wellsprings in the town centre.

Donations of toys and gifts also come from church services and from other local organisations.
