YOUNG people — moved by the heartbreak of a woman whose son died in Jamaica — have raised more than £800 to help her.
Jaqueline Holness’s eldest son Romaine McLean, aged 23, died on November 14, after his car was involved in a crash with a lorry in Lilliput, Jamaica.
Her youngest son, Eshayne Clarke, aged just 17, suffered severe head injuries in the accident.
Friends of Miss Holness contacted staff at Asda in Moss Bank Way, Astley Bridge, to see if they could help raise funds to support her by doing a bag pack.
They packed bags during a weekend in November and raised £891.
