CLARETS stars Tom Heaton and Scott Arfield have thrown their weight behind a Pendleside Hospice campaign.
Mighty Moustache Month is the hospice’s own take on the popular Movember fundraiser, which sees participants grow their facial hair for charity.
Leah Mitchell, fundraiser at the hospice, said she was delighted to have the backing of Sean Dyche’s squad.
She added: “The campaign runs throughout the whole of November. People can grow their moustaches and raise money through sponsorship or we can provide people with stick-on moustaches to raise money.
“People at companies, schools or colleges could wear stick-on moustaches in the office or school for a day to raise money.
“We can provide posters, sponsor forms, buckets, stick-on moustaches and anything else they need.”
Last season, Burnley fans turned heads with their own celebration of facial hair, Dychemeber.
More than 10,000 fans wore ginger beard masks in support of their manager when Burnley played Watford, Dyche’s former club, at Turf Moor in December.
