THESE stunning colours may signal the arrival of autumn — but more rain is on the way, according to forecasters.
Nine-year-old Isobel Knowles was enjoying the autumnal weather at Highfield Primary School yesterday while walkers took advantage of some beautiful sights in Rivington.
However, anyone heading out today or this weekend is warned to take a raincoat and a brolly. A wet and windy morning is predicted today becoming brighter during the afternoon, but remaining windy with showers.
It will be dry and bright for a time tomorrow but with rain and strong winds later.
A mix of sunshine, showers and strong winds are forecast for Sunday, potentially turning “very wet and windy” on Monday, the Met Office said.
