A BLACKBURN college’s nursery has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
St Mary’s Nursery in Shear Brow was set up in 2003 and offers full and part-time care for infants and pre-school children.
Past and present children, parents and staff came together to mark the event with a party recently which included a disco, balloon modelling, face painting and glitter tattoos.
In January 2008, ‘St Mary’s Nursery @ Wensley Fold’ opened its doors after a successful bid from St Mary’s College to provide childcare at the Wensley Fold Children Centre.
Tracy Ellett, the nursery’s manager, said: “I would like to thank the staff for their dedication and commitment to providing safe, caring and challenging environment for the children in our care.”
