Former teacher at St Monica's in Prestwich in court accused of schoolgirl sex offences

A TEACHER has appeared in court charged with six sex offences involving a schoolgirl.
Mark Harrison, aged 49, of Stanley Road, Whitefield, is accused of grooming a child for sexual activity and five counts of sexual activity with a child.
Harrison, who formerly taught at St Monica’s High School in Prestwich, spoke only to confirm his name when he appeared at Bolton Crown Court today. No plea was given.
He was granted conditional bail and will next appear before Bolton Crown Court on October 25.
