AN inquest into the death of a man who died minutes after smoking a “legal high” has been opened.
Michael Marshall, aged 38, collapsed at his friend’s home in Park Road, Heaton and died a short time later at Royal Bolton Hospital.
It happened on September 29, days after he was released from a five-month prison sentence.
Mr Marshall was listening to football with Phillip Oakley when he collapsed.
He had been smoking a herbal incense called Psyclone which was sold on Bolton Market with a warning that it was not for direct inhalation.
Bolton Coroners Court opened and adjourned the inquest.
