1:00pm Monday 7th October 2013 in News
A BANDSTAND is set to become a river for the day.
The structure in St James Street, Burnley, will play host to an exhibition by Mid Pennine Art celebrating the town’s hidden rivers.
A gallery of images will be shown and a new river will appear as artists Urban Canvas, with the help of the public, create a giant piece of pavement art between the bandstand and the charity hut.
Families are encouraged to get involved in the activities, which will take place on October 12 from 10am to 4pm and are all free.
