A MAN who got behind the wheel while being three times over the legal drink-drive limit has been banned from driving for 28 months.
A test revealed 105 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath. Cundliffe appeared before Bury magistrates last week and admitted one count of drink- driving.
As well as the ban, he was ordered to undertake 80 hours of community service and to pay £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
Magistrates told Cundliffe his ban could be reduced by seven months if he completes an alcohol-awareness course.
