A ROYAL guest could make a future appearance in the borough after Bury North MP David Nuttall invited Prince George of Cambridge to visit the area with his parents.
On Monday Tory MP Mr Nuttall publicly congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their new son, born on July 22, during an oral questions session on education in Parliament.
It also saw Prime Minister David Cameron move a humble address to The Queen offering congratulations from the House of Commons.
Mr Nuttall told the house: “On behalf of all my constituents I warmly congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their new son, Prince George, and wish him a long and happy life.
Mr Cameron also offered best wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales.
