Long delays after M66 motorway crash

COMMUTERS are facing traffic chaos following a collision on the motorway.
Police were called to the M66 southbound between junction two in Bury and junction three in Hollins following a four car pileup.
The crash happened at around 7.15am today.
Traffic is queuing back to Ramsbottom and drivers are experiencing delays of up to an hour.
Lane three has been closed while the cars are cleared from the scene.
Nobody was seriously injured.
A further incident between junction one at Ramsbottom and two at Bury on the southbound carriageway took place around 8am.
An oil spillage caused lane two to be closed.
The lane was reopened at 9.40am.
Delays of up to 30 minutes were caused by the spillage.
