Global Village Market coming to Bolton town centre
THE food festival was hailed a massive success - and now an award-winning Global Village Market is set to bring real international flavour to Victoria Square.
Opening on October 17, traders from around the world will be selling their goods until October 20.
Meats of the World will be offering a range of exotic meats from ostrich, impala, crocodile and wild boar, and traditional German Schwenkgrill will be in Bolton with their delicious bratwurst sausage.
The Cheese Board will be offering a great variety of cheeses from around the world, crackers, jams and chutneys whilst French traders Le Mitron can often be heard happily singing along while baking fresh and delicious breads, Viennoiserie and French tarts.
A spokesperson for Market Place said: “Our traders shall be offering Bolton a fantastic Global Village Market with a great selection of flavours from all across the globe, as well as some unique crafts and gifts for the whole family. It shall definitely be the place to be.”
The very popular Dutch Flowers on Tour will also be in Bolton with their Dutch Market Garden selling a huge array of plants, shrubs, trees and bulbs.
Russian Woodcrafts have a selection of beautiful Russian dolls, individually sourced from tradit-ional artists and villages.
Lapponia will be coming from Finland with a variety of traditional Finnish artisan woolwork, cotton and linen clothing and even reindeer hides offering something for visitors of all ages.
Opening hours of the market are 9am until 5.30pm Thursday to Saturday and 10am until 4pm on the Sunday.
