A NEW £3million extension is set to be opened which should boost the prospects of a Burnley beds firm.
Burnley MP Gordon Birtwistle will unveil a new 56,000 square feet addition to their premises at Primrose Mill on Friday, September 20.
Included in the extra capacity is a sprawling new warehouse, nearly trebling existing storage capabilities, and a purpose-designed showroom.
Bosses hope that the new innovations will help them to further reduce delivery times.
Riaz Ahmed, the company’s managing director, said: “While our increased efficiency and capacity were obviously major goals, I am particularly pleased that the new building has secured Sweet Dreams’ future in Burnley, with all that means for our local, loyal workforce.
“Ninety per cent of Sweet Dreams workers live within five miles of the site — and 63 per cent have been with the company for at least five years , with 10 per cent for 15 years or more.”
