Bolton Wanderers away shirt back on sale after logo problem
The Bolton Wanderers away shirt is back on sale after being withdrawn due to a production problem with the new sponsor’s logo.
The shirts arrived in the store, based at the Reebok Stadium, last week.
A club spokesman said: “We are still awaiting some sizes which should be back in stock in the next few days.”
It is believed that only a small number of shirts were returned compared to the numbers sold.
In June, Whites dropped plans to be sponsored by payday loan company QuickQuid after fans protested against the move.
The club announced that they would instead be sponsored by Bolton-based green energy firm FibrLec.
It was understood that some of the FibrLec logos were coming off a small number of the shirts.
The new infra-red Adidas strip featuring the FibrLec sponsorship was unveiled on the club website in July.
The website is currently not displaying the shirt as available for purchase but a spokesman for Wanderers said the site will be updated soon.
