FOODIES got more than a mouthful when they took on a gut-busting burger.
The eating event was held at Paige’s Cafe, in White Lion Brow, Bolton, and challengers were asked to call in, eat up and raise money for Parkinson’s UK.
Each person taking on the giant burger was asked to raise £35 each to go towards the cause.
The meaty treat consisted of a bun with a staggering six layers — including four quarter-pounder burgers, four rashers of bacon, two sausages, cheese, hash browns, onion rings and a fried egg.
The event was organised by 64-year-old Kevin Woodlands — a regular customer at Paige’s. He was inspired to create the event after a friend of his was diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
