THREE people have appeared in court accused of involvement in a £3.8 million mephedrone factory.
Netta Hymanson, aged 62, and Rebecca Brooks, aged 31, both of Circular Road, Prestwich, and Sheena Jessop, aged 45, of Grants Lane, Ramsbottom, were among nine people alleged to be part of a conspiracy to supply drugs. They were granted conditional bail.
Ian Mercer, aged 45, of Birch Road, Walkden, pleaded not guilty to three counts between July 1 2011 and May 16, 2013, at Bolton Crown Court last Friday.
The other defendants did not enter pleas.
A trial date has been listed for October 21 with a plea and case management hearing in the week beginning September 2.
The case follows a police raid at an industrial unit in Bloomfield Road, Farnworth, in May.
