A WINTER walk where ramblers can learn to identify trees will be held at the Foxhill nature reserve, Oswaldtwistle, on Saturday.
The walk is one of a number of free environmental activities planned at the reserve.
Walkers can enjoy a guided walk throughout the reserve and learn about the trees and the different insects and birds that rely on them.
The event will take place from 10am to noon.
The activities are part of a project managed by the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, the Lancashire Environment Fund, the Environment Agency and Hyndburn Council.
The project is aimed at improving the reserve to benefit both wildlife and the local community.
Those interested should meet in the car park at the Mill Hill entrance.
To book a free place or for more information, contact Simon McCloskey, East Lancashire local nature reserve officer, on 01282 704 605 or 07795 017317.
