Animal lovers in Bacup are being asked to walk dogs for the Cinnamon Trust.
The charity for terminally ill and elderly people with dogs seeks to keep owners together with their pets by using a volunteer network to walk them.
Some volunteers can also offer foster care for the pets if the owners need a short spell in hospital.
The trust needs to organise help for people in the Bacup area.
Potential volunteers are asked to ring 01736 757900 to register their interest.
